Rosella Draper, 92, of Wayne City, passed away at 11:27 a.m. Monday, Nov. 22, 2010, at St. Mary's Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt. Vernon. She was born May 1, 1918, in Springfield, a daughter of Eddie and Artie Rutherford. She married Lowell Eugene Draper on Dec. 24, 1939, in St. Louis, and he preceded her in death on Jan. 25, 1997. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. today at Olive Branch Missionary Baptist Church in Wayne City with the Revs. Dennis Sefried and Leland Ganieany officiating. Visitation will be from 9 to 10 a.m. today at the church. Interment will be at Olive Branch Cemetery. Mrs. Draper is survived by three daughters, Phyllis Seidel and husband Paul of Wayne City, Linda Gamber and husband Lee of Spokane, Wash. and Nancy Crew of Pittsburg, Calif.; six grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband a brother, three sisters and a son-in-law. Rosella was a beautician and homemaker. She loved to travel with her husband and do volunteer work at nursing homes. Arrangements are under the direction of Harre Funeral Home in McLeansboro
