- Pastor James D. Hefner, 63, Dahlgren, died 7:47 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 24, 2010, at Crossroads Hospital, Mount Vernon. Services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 28, 2010, at the Dahlgren Grade School with the Rev. Dean Severin officiating. Burial will be in Richardson Hill Cemetery in Dahlgren with graveside military rites by American Legion Post No. 106. Visitation is 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 27, 2010, at the grade school.
