Hal C. Mason 84-year-old former Wichita Falls, Tx. resident, Hal C. Mason of Mt. Vernon, IL died at 8:12 p.m. Monday, Nov. 8 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt. Vernon. He had been a Linotype operator in E. St. Louis and Mt. Vernon, and was a retired mail carrier in Wichita Falls and Abilene, TX. Survivors include his wife, Eloise Mason of Mt. Vernon; daughters, Victoria Lynn of Fairfield and Diane LeRoy of Auburn, IN; a son, Hal Mason, Jr. of Reston, VA; a sister, Mary Graham of Wichita Falls, TX; 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Services for Hal C. Mason will be 6 p.m. Friday, Nov. 12 at the Johnson & Vaughn Funeral Home in Fairfield. Visitation will be from 5 - 6 p.m. Friday, Nov. 12 at the Johnson & Vaughn Funeral Home in Fairfield. A graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 16 at Highland Cemetery in Stamford, TX. The Johnson & Vaughn Funeral Home of Fairfield is in charge of the arraigements.
