Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Kurtz of DuBois will be celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary on Sunday, Nov. 21, 2010, at the Terry Deering Community Center in DuBois with an open house. Kenneth and Helen were married on Nov. 18, 1950, at St. Charles Catholic Church. Kenneth retired from the Illinois Central Railroad. Helen is a homemaker. They are the parents of five children, Joyce (Clarence) Bauza of Posen, Don (Janice) Hoffman of Ashley, Ronnie (deceased), Janet (Steve) Harris of Tamaroa and Deb Kramm of Whittington. They have 12 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, four step grandchildren and one deceased grandchild, Cassie Hoffman. Family and friends are invited to atttend the open house from 1:30 to 4 p.m. No gifts please.
