JOHN BIRKHEAD 71, of Lowell, IN formerly of Chicago Heights, IL, passed away on Saturday, September 18th. He is survived by his wife Yvonne, children, Janice (Robert) Bruce of Lowell, John Jr. (Sofie) of Houston, TX, grandchildren, Sara (Benjamin) Fournet and Jaycee, Natalie (Eric) Mlynarczyk, Robb, Olivia and Will Birkhead and many extended family members. His parents, Judson and Hazel preceded him in death. John was retired from AT&T after 34yrs. and was an avid golfer who thoroughly enjoyed the game. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 21st from 4-8 with a Funeral Service on Wednesday at 11AM, all at Sheets Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 604 E. Commercial Ave. in Lowell.
