GRANDAUGHTER OF Mary KING PAYNE and Roscoe PAYNE Great Grandaughter of Daniel J. KING and Laura LOVIN KING DAHLGREN - Eutrenia Kay Stapf, 49, of Jeffersonville, Ind., died peacefully on Friday, Oct. 15, 2010, from a long and courageous battle with lung cancer. She was born Feb. 1, 1961, in Harvey to Ralph David Kelly Sr. and Ruth Payne. She was raised in both Chicago and Dahlgren before moving to New Port Ritchey, Fla., where she met and married Carl John Stapf. They had a daughter, Nicole Stapf, and shortly after moved to Jeffersonville. Trenia was a member of Rolling Fields Baptist Church. She enjoyed sketching, poetry and spending time with family. She is survived by her husband, daughter, mother and a brother, Ralph David Kelly Jr.; two stepsons; six stepgrandchildren, and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends in the Dahlgren and Mt. Vernon area. She was preceded in death by her father, Ralph D. Kelly Sr., and her grandmother Mary Payne, both of Dahlgren. Trenia chose to be cremated. A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Nov. 6 at Dahlgren Baptist Church with Brother Chuck McCormick officiating. Following the service, per Trenia's wishes, a potluck will be served at the fellowship hall. All are welcome. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made at the church or potluck to help fulfill Trenia's wish that her daughter complete her college degree.
