Dakota Michael Bauer 9-month-old Dakota Michael Bauer died at 9:43 a.m. Wednesday, November 24, at St. Louis Children's Hospital in St. Louis, MO. Surviving are his parents, William and April Bauer of Sims; paternal grandparents, Dean and Terri Mick of Mt. Vernon, IL; paternal great-grandparents, Lewis and Judith Lackey of Mt. Vernon, IL; maternal grandparents, Mike and Martha Cottrill of Sims, and Loretta Gene Lee of Wayne City; one brother, Dusty Bauer of Sims; one sister, Destiny Bauer of Sims; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Dakota Michael Bauer will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, November 30, at the Sims Congregational Church. Burial will be in Pin Oak Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon Tuesday, November 30, until the time of service at the church. Richardson Funeral Home in Wayne City is in charge of the arrangememts
