    3. MT. VERNON - Rodney R. Rubenacker, 49, of Dahlgren, passed away at 11 p.m. Friday, Oct. 15, 2010, at his residence. He was born Aug. 27, 1961, a son of Richard and Margarette "Jody" (Biggerstaff) Rubenacker. He married Carmin Jo Hunt on Nov. 24, 1990, in Piopolis, and she survives. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. John the Baptist Church in Piopolis with Monsignor Joseph Lawler officiating. Interment will be at St. John the Baptist Cemetery in Piopolis. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at St. Clements Catholic Church in McLeansboro. Rodney is survived by his wife, Carmin (Hunt) Rubenacker of Dahlgren; his mother, Jody Rubenacker of McLeansboro; two children, Megan and Adam Rubenacker of Dahlgren; two brothers, Randy Rubenacker and wife Debbie and Terry Rubenacker and wife Stacy, all of Dahlgren; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Max and Dana Hunt; four aunts, Bernice Dolan (godmother), Alice Kreher and Virginia "Gin" Rubenacker, all of Mt. Vernon and Patsy Aydt and husband Leo of McLeansboro; uncle, Junior Biggerstaff and wife Sharon of Enfield; brother-in-law, Scott Hunt and wife Angie of Dale; sister-in-law, Tammy Rhodes and husband Sam of Petal, Miss.; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Rubenacker. Rodney was a farmer and partner with Rubenacker Farms and 4R Equipment in McLeansboro. He was a member of the Hamilton Co. Unit 10 Board of Education and a member of the Knights of Columbus. Rodney loved watching his children participate in sports and school activities. Memorials may be made to the Hamilton County School Foundation and will be accepted at the church. Harre Funeral Home in McLeansboro is in charge of all arrangements
