Vernon officiated before an altar decorated with an archway with ferns and hydrangeas. Mr. and Mrs. Cort and Lisa Jones of Mt. Vernon are the parents of the bride. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Bill and Eunice Lantagne of Carterville. The bride wore an ivory gown. The maid of honor was Dawn Pinkston of Carterville. The best man was Cory Johnston of Carterville. After a honeymoon in Hawaii, the newlyweds will reside in Carterville. The bride is a graduate of Southern Illinois University at Carbondale and is an administrative assistant at Old National Bank. The bridegroom is a graduate of Southern Illinois University at Carbondale and is in the management trainee program at Enterprise.
