MT. VERNON - Dottie (Frost) Boyd, born Sept. 23, 1927, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, Oct. 13, 2010, after a courageous battle with Alzheimer's disease. She was the beloved wife of the late Clark Boyd; dearest mother of Jerry (Joyce) Cunningham, Wilton (Nancy), Joseph (Kim) and Lonnie (Barbara) Boyd; dear grandmother of nine and great-grandmother of 10; sister of Lottie Mays; and our dear sister-in-law, aunt, cousin and friend. Funeral services will be Friday at 10 a.m. at Collier's Funeral Home, 3400 N. Lindbergh Blvd., St. Ann, Mo. Interment will be at Mt. Vernon Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Woodlawn at 12:30 p.m. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
