OBITUARY VICKIE LYNN HICKS, 54, passed away at 10:15 P.M. Saturday, May 14, 2011 at her home in Mount Vernon, Illinois. She was born on Thursday, August 30, 1956 in Mount Vernon, Illinois, a daughter to the late Willis Russell Hicks, Sr. & Wilma Maxine (Daniels) Hicks. Along with her parents, and grandparents, two sisters: Donna Sue Hicks and Wilma Troutt, five brothers-in-law, one niece: Michelle Ann and one nephew: John Riley Gray preceded her in death. Her Surviving Family Members include Son: Darrell DeWayne Hicks of Mount Vernon, Illinois; Six Sisters: JoAnne Bacon of Kingston, Illinois, Betty Callinan, Rose Boswell, Hallie Hatfield and husband Terry, Marilyn Griffith and husband Adrian and Robin Mooney, all of Mount Vernon, Illinois; two Brothers: Willis Russell Hicks and wife Connie of Dix, Illinois and Glenn Lowery of Mount Vernon, Illinois; and Close Friends: Jackie Frazier and Bobby Wright of Mount Vernon, Illinois. Several Nieces and Nephews also Survive. Vickie worked in the housekeeping/laundry department at Mount Vernon Countryside Manor and was a Private Assistant for Doors in Mount Vernon. She loved rummage sales and was of the Christian Faith. VISITATION will be from 5 to 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, May 17, 2011 at Hughey Funeral Home in Mount Vernon, Illinois FUNERAL SERVICE will be held at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, May 18, 2011 at Hughey Funeral Home. INTERMENT will follow at Old Shiloh Cemetery in Jefferson County, Illinois.. MEMORIALS may be given to The Hicks Family and will be accepted at the funeral home or mailed to Hughey Funeral Home, P.O.
