MT. VERNON - Brenda Wagner of Dahlgren would like to announce the engagement of her daughter, Brittany Ann Wagner, to Jordan Paul Ronat. Brittany is the granddaughter of the late Jean Grewe. Brittany is a 2006 graduate of Hamilton County High School. She will graduate May 7 from Eastern Illinois University with her bachelor's in early childhood education with family and child services. She is currently student teaching at Crestwood Elementary in Paris, and employed at Staples in Mattoon. Jordan is the son of Ed Ronat and wife Teresa of Dix and Sheree Easton and husband Kent of Mt. Vernon. He is the grandson of Art and the late Agnes Ronat of Mt. Vernon, and Shirley Hunziker of Lake City, Iowa. He is the great-grandson of Bessie Hendricks of Lake City, Iowa. Jordan is a 2002 graduate of Mt. Vernon High School. He is pursuing a degree in information technology. He is currently employed at Staples in Mattoon as a resident technician. Brittany and Jordan are planning a ceremony June 11 at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church in Dahlgren with a reception following at Genkota Winery in Mt. Vernon
