Ashton Reegan Long was stillborn on May 4, 2011, at St. Mary's Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt. Vernon, the baby of Jami Sue Poole and Galen Lee Long. Ashton Long is survived by parents, one sister, Makenzie Long of Bonnie; maternal grandparents, Tim and Carole Poole of Opdyke; paternal grandmother , Glenda Kurtsinger and husband Sonny of Kinmundy; paternal grandfather, Perry Long of Iuka; maternal great grandfather, Stanley Poole and wife Barb of Mt. Vernon; maternal great grandmother, Doris Poole of Mt. Vernon; paternal great grandmother, Helen Long of Salem; maternal great grandfather, Charles Church of Mt. Vernon; and also a maternal great great-grandfather, Irvin Poole of Opdyke; Private Family interment services will be held at Mt. Vernon Memorial Gardens in Woodlawn.
