Keith Eugene Ward, Jr., 72, of Mt. Vernon, died at 1:40 p.m. Monday, May 23, 2011, at White Oaks Rehab and Healthcare Center. Mr. Ward was born Aug. 16, 1938, in Patterson, Mo., the son of Keith Eugene & Elsie (Duncan) Ward. Mr. Ward was a plumber pipe fitter for 30 years. He is survived by his wife; and three brothers, Tom Ward, Ralph Ward and Darrell Ward, all of Missouri. As per his wishes, Mr. Ward was cremated and a memorial service will be held at 5 P.M. Tuesday at the Johnston Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon with Pastor Bob Meyer officiating
