    3. Myrtle Elnor Littrell, 89, of Mt. Vernon, Illinois passed away at 9:40 P.M. on Monday, February 21, 2011 at her home in Mt. Vernon, Illinois. Mrs. Littrell was born on Saturday, January 14, 1922 in Marion County, Illinois the daughter of the late Aud Lisenbey and Ella (Heflin) Lisenbey. She married Hulen Albert Littrell on November 17, 1938 in Marion County, Illinois and he preceded her in death on December 23, 1973. Surviving family members include her son: Joe Littrell and wife Jennie of Iuka, Illinois; daughter: Carolyn Smith and husband Lee of Mt. Vernon, Illinois; grandchildren: Joe and Day Littrell, Mike and Brenda Littrell, Billy and Laura Henderson, Vincent and Judy Shehorn, Wesley and Kim Shehorn, Sr., Shawn and Lee Ann Crunk, London and Carol Soloman; great grandchildren: Wesley and Crystal Shehorn, Jr., Brandon Shehorn, Christopher "Butch" Shehorn, Jon Hughey, Shannon Treffert and Bryan Branson, George and Krystal Shehorn, Dustin Crunk, Nelson Crunk, London Soloman II, Shannon and Kenneth Hathober, Fiona Morse, Ian Morse, Elizabeth Barnett, Jacob Ware, Caden Henderson, Aaron Jordan, Dylan Jordan, Lindsey Deadmond and Robert; great great grandchildren: Christopher Shehorn, Sara Shehorn and Kaley Treffert; 2 brothers: Jim Lisenbey and wife Norma of Mt. Vernon, Illinois and Gene Lisenbey and wife Peg of Iuka, Illinois. Her parents, husband and one son: Richard Littrell preceded her in death. Myrtle was of the Baptist faith. She worked at Illinois Industrial Maintenance and also at the United Methodist Children's Home. VISITATION: will be held from 5 to 8:00 P.M. on Thursday, February 24, 2011 at Hughey Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon, Illinois. FUNERAL SERVICES: will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, February 25, 2011 at Hughey Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon, Illinois. Mr. Tim Thebeau will officiate. INTERMENT: Panther Fork Cemetery in Jefferson County, Illinois. For those who wish, memorials may be given to Panther Fork Baptist Church Cemetery Fund or Donoho Prairie Christian Church Building Fund and will be accepted at the funeral home or may be mailed to Hughey Funeral Home, P.O. Box 721, Mt. Vernon, Illinois 62864.
