James L. Bauer, 71, Niceville, Pa., passed away Friday, Jan. 28, 2011, at his home. He was born June 13, 1939, in Bloomington, son of Peter James and Opal (Roper) Bauer. He is survived by his wife Cheryl; son Terry Bauer and wife Becky of Florida; daughter Ramee Marbut and husband Lance of Nevada; step daughter Jaime Aupperle; brothers Robert Bauer and wife Donna of Mt. Vernon, Orland Bauer and wife Linda of Centralia; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and many nieces and nephews. Mr. Bauer was a member of CTHS Class of 1956. He served 22 years in the U.S. Air Force and retired as a master Sergeant in 1979. Services were held Saturday, Feb. 5, 2011, in Crestview, Fla
