- Helen K. Sipes, 77, of Carmi and formerly of Ina, passed away Saturday, Feb. 12, 2011, at 1:30 p.m. at the Wabash Christian Retirement Center in Carmi. She was born on Aug. 3, 1933, in Hopewell, Ky., the daughter of Virgil and Emma Louise (Day) Weaver. She married Elmer Sipes and he preceded her in death. Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Helen and John Oliver of Carmi; two sons, Ted Dalton of Murphysboro and Larry Dalton of Downey, Calif.; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Bill and Patty Weaver of Martinsville, Ind., Bob Weaver of Myrtle Beach, S.C., and Larry and Beth Weaver of Indianapolis, Ind.; a grandson, Joe Carrell of Hendersonville, Tenn.; and three great-grandchildren, Hannah, Madison, and Gavin Carrell. She was preceded in death by a brother, Nick Weaver. Funeral services will be at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 15, 2011, at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi with Pastor Chad Everett officiating. Burial will be in White County Memorial Garden in Carmi. Friends may call at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi on Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until service time at 12:30 p.m
