Dennis G. Blanks, age 57, of Sterling, Massachusetts and a former resident of Mt. Vernon, IL passed away 1:30 p.m. Monday, January 31, 2011 at Leminister Hospital in Sterling, Massachusetts. Dennis was born May 26, 1953 in Clovis, New Mexico the son of Gale and Joan (McAlister) Blanks. He Married Kathy (Brennan) and she survives in Sterling. He was a truck driver for over thirty years. He is also survived by his parents, Gale and Joan Blanks of Mt. Vernon; and one sister, Nancy Phillips of Mt. Vernon. he was preceded in death by his brother Larry "Dickie" Blanks.
