Kaci Elizabeth Visser, 23, passed away 1:50 p.m. Monday, April 25, 2011 at her home in Mt. Vernon. Kaci was born the daughter of Robert L. Visser and "Jane" Melinda (Neal) on February 20, 1988 in Mt. Vernon. Kaci is survived by her parents, Robert Lee Vissser of Mt. Vernon and by mother, Jane Obryant of Mt. Vernon; one son, Carson Lee Spears of Mt. Vernon; one brother, Brant Visser of Mt. Vernon; paternal grandfather Donal Lee Visser and wife Phyllis of Tuscumbia, Mo.; paternal grandmother, Jean Germann of Mt. Vernon; paternal grandfather, Lowell Neal of Mt. Vernon; and maternal grandmother, Linda and husband Charles Pepple of Bluford; father of her son, Craig Spears of Mt. Vernon; and by several aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her Sister Lindsey Brook Visser and by step grandfather Jake Germann. She attended the Old Paths Baptist Church in Mt. Vernon. Funeral Services for Kaci will be held 11:00 A.M. Thursday April 28, 2011 at Newell Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon with Pastor Brian Carpenter officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Vernon Memorial Gardens in Woodlawn. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
