Todd A. Sandy, 36, of Bluford, passed away at 3:29 P.M., Friday, April 1, at his home. He was born on Monday, August 19, 1974 in Mount Vernon, Illinois, a son to Larry & Linda (Scrivner) Sandy of Opdyke, Illinois. Along with his parents his surviving family members include two Daughters: Kaelyn and Briannah Sandy of Texico, Illinois; a Son: Jacob Sandy of Waltonville, Illinois; a Sister: Megan Sandy and Daniel Cammack of Centralia, Illinois; a Brother: Jeff Sandy and wife Yvette of Opdyke, Illinois; three Nephews: Markus Cammack and Mylze Cammack of Centralia, Illinois and Gavin Sandy of Opdyke, Illinois; and his Maternal Grandparents: Vernon & Nellie Scrivner of Belle Rive, Illinois. His paternal grandparents: Milburn and Wilma Sandy preceded him in death. Todd was a truck driver for Henry A. Petter Supply Company in Mount Vernon and his passion was his children. VISITATION will be from 5 to 8:00 P.M. Monday, April 4, at Hughey Funeral Home in Mount Vernon. GRAVESIDE SERVICE will be held at 10:30 A.M. Tuesday, April 5, at Opdyke Cemetery in Opdyke with Reverend Raymond Capps officiating. Burial will follow at Opdyke Cemetery in Opdyke.
