Marvin W. Wilson, 59 of Bluford, passed away Friday, April 8, 2011 at the St. Mary's Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt. Vernon. He was born September 8, 1951 in Mt. Vernon, Illinois , the son of Marvin Lee and EvaLena Wilson. Mr. Wilson formerly worked at World Color Press in Salem and later did various construction jobs in the area. He served his country in the Illinois Army National Guard. Mr. Wilson is survived by two children Melody and husband Richard Corbin of New Baden, Illinois and Eldon Wilson and wife Celena of Byron, Georgia; two grandchildren, Zachary Wilson and Makayla Leal both of Byron, Georgia He was preceded in death by his parents. Graveside Memorial Services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 13, 2011 at Mateer Davis Cemetery in Rural Wayne County with Pastor Eddie Hale officiating.
