    3. SESSER -- Martha Evelyn Eubanks, 90 years and 364 days, passed away at 11 a.m. Sunday, April 3, 2011, in Herrin Hospital. She was born April 4, 1920, in Sullivan to Homer and Lela (Glasco) Loman. She left her loving family to be with her heavenly father and her husband. At the time of her death, Evelyn was surrounded by her most precious earthly possessions, her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Evelyn married the love of her life, Howard W. Eubanks. They married Feb. 22, 1938, in Cape Girardeau and shared 67 wonderful years of marriage. He preceded her in death July 27, 2005. Their life was blessed, fulfilled and enjoyed by their four children, Marlene and husband Jack Stubblefield, Gale and wife Carrie Eubanks, and Debbie Malkovich, all of Sesser, and Brenda and husband Billy Joe Hartley of West Frankfort; grandchildren, Jackie Meyers and husband Brian, Chris Stubblefield and wife Tammy, Howard Gale Eubanks and wife Susan, Kenny Homer Eubanks and wife Lana, Danell Morhet and husband Chris, Dana Wylie and husband Greg, Monica Hartley Stewart and husband Donnie, Tim Eubanks and wife Kim, and Matt Malkovich and wife Brandi; great-grandchildren, Taylor Meyers, Morgan, Jackson, Hudson and Ava Stubblfield, Emma and Rosie Eubanks, Fonda Eubanks Zimmerman and husband Mark, Little Kenny Eubanks, Rachel and Kristen Wylie, Jordan and Katie Morhet, Molly Stewart, and T.J. and Bayley Eubanks; great-great-grandchildren, Zane and Zoe Reagan, and Cade Zimmerman; stepgrandchildren, Brandy Marcus, Robbie Richenberg and Jill Murry, Eric and Michelle Richenberg, Ethan Marcus and Krystal Rogers. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, William Rodney and James Loman; sister, Lucille Summers; two nephews; her son-in-law, Danny Malkovich; and lifelong friends, Cabe and Nettie Sink. Evelyn belonged to First Baptist Church of Sesser. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, fishing, riding horses, camping and dancing. Her greatest pleasure in life was entertaining her family of 51 in the "party room." Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 6, 2011, in First Baptist Church in Sesser, with Brother James Kerley and Pastor Julie Smith officiating. Interment will be in Maple Hill Cemetery in Sesser. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today and 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday at the church. Union Funeral Home in West Frankfort is in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church in Sesser. Envelopes will be available at the church and funeral home.
