Esther R. Winesburgh, 92, of Geff, passed away at 3:17 p.m. Wednesday, March 9, 2011, at Fairfield Memorial Hospital. She was a homemaker and a member of Keenes Missionary Church. She was born Sept. 4, 1918, in Wayne County, to Dolpha and Cora (Dickey) Dulany. She married Stephen T. (Pete) Winesburgh on Sept. 8, 1940, and he preceded her in death on Aug. 3, 1992. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Hennes Missionary Church with the Revs. Merle Fullerton and Don Rector officiating. Interment will follow at Thomason Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Richardson Funeral Home in Wayne City. Mrs. Winesburgh is survived by two sons, Charles Winesburgh and wife Sue of Hebo, Ore., and Steve Wineburgh and wife Julie of Wayne City; two daughters, Wanda Trentt of North Aurora and Alene Robertson and husband Harold of Geff; 15 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and 20 great-great-grandchildren; and a brother, Raymond (Dorthy) Dulany. She was preceded in death by her husband, a daughter, a step daughter, three sisters, three brothers, two sons-in-law and one great-grandson.
