WAYNE CITY - Randel Talbert, 29, of Wayne City, passed away at 1:35 p.m. Saturday, March 12, 2011, at his home. He was a disabled veteran, having served in the U.S. Army. Talbert was born Dec. 24, 1981, in Mt. Vernon, to Ronald and Lorene (Fraizer) Talbert. He married Ashley Talbert and she survives. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. today at Richardson Funeral Home in Wayne City with the Rev. Rob Greenwalt officiating. Interment will follow at Thomason Cemetery. He was preceded in death by his grandparents. He is survived by his parents, Ron and Lorene Talbert of Wayne City; his wife, Ashley Talbert of Wayne City; two sons, Andrew and Ely Talbert; two daughters, Cheyann Talbert and Ceirra Talbert; two brothers, Dewayne Talbert and wife Stephanie of Panama City, Fla., and Ryan Talbert and wife Dawn of Wayne City; and three nieces and three nephews. For those who wish, memorial contributions may be made to the Educational Fund of the Talbert children and will be accepted at the funeral home.
