    3. MT. VERNON - Chad Michael True, age 36, of Irvington, died on Wednesday, June 8, 2011, near St. Rose as a result of a traffic accident. Chad was born on Nov. 8, 1974, in Nashville, the son of Michael True and Brenda (Fark) Plassman. Mr. True is survived by his father and stepmother, Mike and Melody True of Woodlawn; his mother and stepfather, Brenda and David Plassman of Shiloh; a son, Evan True of Bethany; a sister, Stacey Hall and husband Mike of Belleville; stepbrothers, Matthew Plassman and wife Tiffany of Shiloh and Gabe Meador of Bloomington; a stepsister, Kerry Stricker and husband JR of Joplin, Mo.; a fiancé, Jessica Carpenter and daughters Shelby, Liz, Emma and Abby all of Irvington; aunts and uncles, Rick and Alice True, Pat True, Brad and Karen Meyer and Ron Fark; and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Louis and Pat True of Richview and Kenneth and Belva Fark of Hoyleton. Chad was a driver for Brisk Sanitation. He was a member of Richview United Methodist Church and lived the last five years in Irvington and prior to that in Richview. Chad loved music and older muscle cars. He played the drums in numerous bands beginning in the fifth grade. He also enjoyed riding his Harley. Friends may call Saturday from 5 to8 p.m. at the Irvin Funeral Home in Centralia. A celebration of life service will follow at 8 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Alice True officiating. Memorials may be made to his son, Evan True, and will be accepted at the funeral home. Irvin Funeral Home in Centralia is in charge of arrangements.
