That is very interesting and I appreciate your contribution, I am a great great grandson of Hannah Milburn Daniels. I have her death certificate here in front of me and I think I figured out what the problem is, It seems that her son, (my great grandfather) confused the maiden names of his two grandmothers. The first time I looked at it, I saw "Allenps" so I went with "Allen" then, I saw that another researcher read it as "Allcups" and now that I am looking at it again, I am seeing "Allsups". His paternal grandmother's maiden name was "Alsup". Are you related to this family? I found Hannah in the 1900 and 1910 census records in Jefferson Co., IL with her husband, William Daniels and in 1920 she is widowed and residing with her son, William and his family in Coles County. My grandmother was born at Coles Co., IL in 1920 and then the family moved back to Jefferson where the other children were born. Hannah's death is recorded in Wayne Co. on March 28, 1923 at ! Four Mile Twsp., listed at "Hana" but on the death certificate it appears as "Hans". It's very confusing that people had such poor grammar and spelling but gotta give them a "A" for effort.
