UNA MARIE GEORGE, 71, of Mount Vernon, Illinois, passed away at 5:58 P.M. on Friday, June 10, 2011 at her home in Mount Vernon, Illinois. She was born on Sunday, September 24, 1939 in Jefferson County, Illinois, a daughter to the late Arthur Ray & Fay (Harvey) Smith. MARRIED: SURVIVED BY: Special Friend: Mike Davis of Mount Vernon, Illinois Son: David Bledsoe and wife Grecie of Bonifay, Florida 2 Daughters: Cheryl Spicer and husband David of Bluford, Illinois Tammy Taylor of Centralia, Illinois Grandchildren: Amanda Hosmer, Shelly and Stacie Helms, Britney, Matthew, Megan, Jeremy and Brandon Bledsoe, Melissa Aguilar and Crystal Karch 2 Brothers: Arthur O. Smith of Joppa, Illinois Derald Smith and wife Ruthie of Illinois Sister: Joyce Bassett of Fradenburg, Illinois Eleven Great Grandchildren, Several Nieces and Nephews, Uncles, Aunts and Cousins also Survive Her parents, two sons: Rick and Claude Allen Bledsoe, two brothers: Otis & Gary Smith and two sisters: Shirley Belle Smith and Thelma Smith preceded her in death She was married to Claude Lee Bledsoe, was a homemaker and was of the Baptist Faith. There will be no Visitation. GRAVESIDE SERVICE will be held at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, June 15, 2011 at Oakwood Cemetery in Mount Vernon, Illinois, with Reverend Merle Fullerton officiating.
