Vada Henrietta Denham, 93, died Saturday morning June 25, 2011, in St. Mary's Good Samaritan Regional Health Center in Mount Vernon. Mrs. Denham was born Sept. 13, 1917, in Roseclaire, the daughter of Henry and Laura Cunningham. She married Orville Denham in 1933, and he preceded her in death Nov. 24, 1969. Mrs. Denham was a member of Whittington Baptist Church. Mrs. Denham is survived by five children, Ted Denham and wife, Maxine, of Ewing, Shirlene Capps and husband, Burton, of Whittington, Diana Neal and husband, DeWayne, of Ina, Jack Denham of Whittington, John Denham of Whittington; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Mrs. Denham was preceded in death by her parents, husband, four sisters and two brothers. She was a wonderful lady who was loved by all and was a hard worker. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 29, in Liberty-Ridlin Cemetery, with the Rev. Mark Minor officiating. Friends and family are welcome to attend.
