William "Bill" Nagel, 62, of Yuma, Arizona passed away on Wednesday, January 12, 2011 at a hospital in Tucson. Bill was born on August 3, 1948 in Beaucoup the son of Evans "Shorty" and Regina (Chwascinski) Nagel. He married Martha (Thompson) Voss and she preceded him in death. Surviving family members include his mother, Regina Kraus of Okawville, Illinois; one daughter, Tesha and friend Manny Villegas of Tucson; one son, Eric of San Diego; and one sister, Laura Skorch and husband David of Mt. Vernon, Illinois. Other survivors include his mother-in-law, Esther Thompson; Bridget Voss and family of Colorado; Vanessa Voss Gordon and family of Nashville; Darel Voss and family of rural Okawville; grandchildren and great grandchildren. He attended schools in Nashville and graduated in 1966 from Nashville Community High School. He was a US Navy Veteran. In accordance with the wishes of the family, cremation will be performed and a memorial service will be announced at a later date.
