MT. VERNON - Elenora Underwood, 85, died Monday, Jan. 17, 2011. She was born Jan. 22, 1925, in Ina. She was a registered nurse, receiving her degree from Barnes Jewish Hospital in 1956. She served in the operating room and owned her own nursing home in Ina. She is survived by two nieces, Marilyn Lane and husband Jim and Judy Story and husband Brad.
