The groom is the son of Don and Dena Jones of Salem. Matron of honor was Shana Gerberding, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Chelsey Duncan and Shannon Bruce, friends of the bride. Best man was Rich Crouse, friend of the groom. Groomsmen were Clint Wolfe, brother-in-law of the groom, and Alex Gerberding, brother-in-law of the bride. Flower girl was Justice Blanchett, friend of the bride. The guest book was attended by Linzi Rector and Kacie Rector, cousins of the bride. Sarah Duncan, friend of the bride, and Cathy Rector, aunt of the bride, served as wedding coordinators. A dinner and dance reception was held at the Salem Community Center following the ceremony. The couple honeymooned in Panama City Beach, Fla. The bride is a May 2010 graduate of Southern Illinois University Carbondale with a bachelor of science degree in elementary education. She is employed as a kindergarten teacher at the District 80 Primary Center in Mt. Vernon. The groom is a May 2009 graduate of Southern Illinois University Carbondale with a bachelor of science degree in elementary education. He is employed as a junior high teacher at Selmaville Grade School in Salem. The couple reside in Salem.
