MT. VERNON - Lloyd E. Webb III, 56, of Benton, formerly of Macedonia, died at 9:40 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 20, 2011, at his home. He was born on Dec. 23, 1954, in Du Quoin, the son of Lloyd E. and Minnie (Eubanks) Webb. He married Lisa Hodges, and she preceded him in death. He is survived by three sons, Lloyd E. Webb and companion Tammy of Macedonia, Bennie Ray Webb and wife Katina of Carrier Mills and Billie Joe Webb and wife Teri of McLeansboro; three daughters, Sissy Brown and husband Darin of McLeansboro, Ashley Nicole Webb of Waterloo and Jolene Clark of McLeansboro; 14 grandchildren, Kandi Webb, Lloyd E. Webb IV, William Webb, Chelsea Webb, Waylon Webb, Allie Webb, Bennie Joe Webb, Dalton Webb, Nicholas Webb, Hanna Webb, Ray Brown, Dezaraye Brown, Makenzy Martin and Dallas Cole Webb; and one great-grandson, Gaven Lane Kelly. Lloyd was a farmer. He was a member of the Sons of American Legion and the Eagles Lodge in Benton. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Gholson Funeral Home with the Rev. Bennie Webb officiating. Interment will be at Macedonia Cemetery in Macedonia. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Gholson Funeral Home in McLeansboro.
