Norma J. Haley, 67, of DuQuoin, Illinois passed away at 3:05 A.M. on Wednesday, January 5, 2011 at Mt. Vernon Health Care Center in Mt. Vernon, Illinois. Mrs. Haley was born on Monday, September 13, 1943 in Jefferson County, Illinois the daughter of the late David and Amanda (Edwards) Lemons. She married Robert Haley on December 27, 1988 in Paducah, Kentucky. Surviving family members include her husband: Robert "Bob" Haley of DuQuoin, Illinois; 3 daughters: Pam Amos of Pinckneyville, Illinois, Sally Storey and husband Brian of Benton, Illinois and Peggy Nelson of DuQuoin, Illinois; 8 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; two brothers; five sisters and several nieces and nephews also survive. Her parents, one daughter: Donna Jean Lukehart and one brother preceded her in death. Norma worked as a Timberman for Freeman Coal Company until retiring. In honor of her request, Norma will be cremated and there will be no public visitation or funeral services held.
