On the 1879 marriage, Montgomery Milborn was age 54 and Zuritha McCormack was age 24. You can go here to see on the very last line. I'm afraid that the 1879 marriage of Montgomery Milburn to Zuritha McCormack raises more questions than it answers. If he was married in 1879 then why does he appear in the 1880 census in his son's household in Casner as a widower? Did she die within the first year of marriage? Perhaps she was married to another Montgomery Milburn (though I must admit that another Montgomery Milburn is possible, it's still a long shot). I also checked the 1860, 1870 and 1880 census records of Hiram and Mary Milburn in Rome and have determined that they are a seperate family with no connection to my Milburn ancestors. Hirum was born in Indiana and Mary was born in Kentucky. My Montgomery and Mary were both born in Tennessee. Are you connected to these families? Are you a local researcher? I am looking for somebody in the Mt.Vernon area to find obituaries for me at the library and find records at the courthouse. Again, Thank You so very much for your reply! James A. Drew and second wife Margaret are in Illinois very early. I believe his first wife may have been a Browm whom he married in Wilson County TN. I think he might be the son of the Benjamin Drew 1850 census of Wilson Co,TN who had a wife Nancy Buchanan. They had 8 sons and seem to have dropped off the earth by 1829 when there was a deed of land sold. Al Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. Any chance there's more information in the "Facts and Folks" book about the earlier Drew generations? I would like to know how John W. Drew b Mar 1831 IL (according to 1900 Moores Prairie, JCI census) fits in with the older generations. John married Alcy C. Brooks 11/17/1857 FCI but has a bunch of Clark kids and their apparent mother living with him and his new wife in 1860 FCI census. Sarah Clark is age 56 born in TN. Clark children are: Julyann? age 12 John age 20, James age 16 and Josephine age 14. Josephine Clark continues to live with John and Alcy Caroline (Brooks) Drew in the 1870 JCI census and then marries William M. Drew 4/22/1875 JCI. I'm always interested in these "collateral" lines that are distantly connected to my families. I am wondering if this Sarah Clark was married to one of the sons of Jacob Clark and Lucinda Lacefield. They had 16 children I believe including 10 sons: Reuben b 1794, William b 1795, Daniel b 1797, Abraham b 1798, John b 1799, David b 1801, Henry b 1805, Jacob Jr. b 1810, Hiram b 1817, Isaac b 1822.
