Hi to all, I am having a real problem finding my family, William Wilson and Susan Gambrel in Jasper Co. I know they lived there for a while, am not sure how long. William died there in about 1848. I have a date of Dec. 24, 1848. But I have just found the md. date of Susan and second hubbie Ezekial Leach or Leech, for Sept. 1848, so I think that the date of Williams death is wrong. I got alot of my info on Susan from her o-bit. She was born in Ky about 1813, she moved with her family to Hancock Co. Ind. were she married William in 1837. They lived together 12 happy years, then he died. But in the mean time they had moved to Jasper Co. Il. They had 5 children and at the time of Susan's death, only one remained, Rebecca Jane Wilson Fanning, my great grandmo. I need info on William death, where he is buried or something.. The other 4 children, and the 1850 census, for Eziekels and family. According to o-bit they were only md. 2 years and he was killed in 1852. Well if they were md. in 1848, and he died in 1852, that would make about 4 years.. Any help would sure be appreciated... Thank you Cathy in Oregon
