PHILLIPS, BROTHERS, CARSON: Would like to communicate with descendants of my gg grandparents Evan Phillips (Philips) born abt 1821 Guernsey Co, Oh moved to Richland Co, Il abt 1854 and died about Oct ,1877 in Preston Twp. His wife was Nancy Brothers, born Feb 1826 in Noble Co, Oh. She died in Richland Co Dec 1866. His sister Margaret Philips is my maternal ggg grandmother, the wife of Edward Carson. He born abt 1818 in Pa, she abt 1816 in Guernsey Co, Oh. They moved to Richland Co about the same time. Nancy’s brother Gustavus Brothers (born June 1840 in Noble Co-died Nov 1930 Jasper Co)married Edward and Margaret’s daughter Sarah Rebecca Carson ( born Apr 1849 in Richland Co - died Nov 1935) and eventually lived in Jasper County, Il. I especially would like to know more about Edward and Margaret Carson as I have not been able to trace them after the 1870’s.
