I have CARRs in ST.CLAIR IL from 1800 on. There were SMITHS, EDWARDS, ROBERTSON, HIGGINS, BARKER, PHILLIPS, COX, SHOOK, SHORT, WILDERMAN, TATE and other families with them there. One of the grandson's of the original ST.CLAIR families ended up in FULTON CO. Carrs were originally from HARDY CO VA and came to IL in 1798 with the Rev.David BADGELY Party.
