I have a listing of all of their children. Which child is your direct descendant? Elizabeth's mother was Margaret GEARHEART [her marriage to Edwards was her second]. Margaret was born Abt. 1826 in Kentucky. Elizabeth's father, Edward JONES served in the Civil War. He was shot in 1872 by a neighbor in a dispute over livestock.
