    3. Cyntha was the widow of Millenton David REYNOLDS, who was killed by river pirates in Jun 1842. She married Edward B. POPEJOY in Apr 1845, but by the time of the 1850 census they were living in separate dwellings (he is in family 161 Northern District and she is in family 296, listed as Cyntha REYNALDS). Her maiden name was HOPKINS. Her father was Andrew HOPKINS. Her mother was Sarah DILL.
