Looking at the 1867 Atlas of Jackson County. If you go SW from Sand Ridge along the Grand Tower RR line you come to the Fountain Bluff Station. Just to the SW of that there is a place that looks to me as named Old Liberty. The map is not that clear, I think that is what it says.
