    3. James EVANS (1803-1962) was born in KY. The Thomas EVANS (1827 - after Jun 1880) who married Phyllis BASEDEN was born in England. Possibly, James and Thomas were related, if one went back far enough, but EVANS is a fairly common name, and I have found no connections between the families. http://www.tomshawcross.blogspot.com http://worldconnect.rootsweb.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?op=GET&db=shawcross&id=I53 ----- Original Message ----- From: "Mary Riseling" <riseling@insightbb.com> To: <iljackso@rootsweb.com> Sent: Tuesday, March 13, 2007 10:43 PM Subject: Re: [ILJACKSO] Walker Hill Cemetery > George, > > I'm sure our Evans cross somewhere as there were so many of them in > Jackson > County.
