Dale, There are still many McGuire's in the county and in the Makanda area, and a McGuire's Orchard that has been here forever. I would do a search for them in Makanda and Carbondale on http://www.zabasearch.com/ and give some of them a call to find out who in the family is into family history. Good luck!
