    3. Kathryn, Eola was the daughter of Harmon KNAUER and Isabelle HARMON, and she was married to John Connor AUSTIN and to Wilhelm LINDAE. Eola and John had two children: John Connor AUSTIN, Jr. and Mary Louise AUSTIN. John Connor AUSTIN, Jr. married Chlomara DECK and they moved to Cape Coral, FL, where they passed away in 1985 and 1988, respectively. I do not know if they had any children or if Mary Louise AUSTIN married and had children. After John Connor, Sr. died, Eola married Wilhelm, but they had no children together. Eola died in St. Louis, MO in May, 1975. I could put you in touch with descendants of Eola's uncle, George Washington KNAUER. They live in California. 3. Kathryn; Running with the information Tom has so kindly provided, I would suggest this (it has worked for me many times): I would look up the exact date of death, or at least month and year for John Connor AUSTIN, Jr. and his wife in the SSDI, then contact the public library where they resided, Cape Coral, FL. You can easily do a search for library in Cape Coral and likely will get a homepage with an email address. Email them and ask if they have back issues of the local newspaper on film, and if they do, if they would kindly do a lookup for you of these folk's obits. If not, ask them to let you know where the back issues are archived and who might be willing to do a lookup. Usually volunteers will do this for free. The obits should give you the names and towns of residence of their children, or other nearest relations. Good luck!
