I would like to find birth records for William John Mathews, my great-great-grandfather. He was born at Bishop Hill Colony, Henry County, Illinois, 15 Jul 1855. Also, would like to find birth records for William's sister, Helena (Helen) Mathews, born 13 Mar 1858 (or 1857 ?). Both William and Helena may have a different last name for birth records ? Father is presently unknown.
