Perhaps you already have this. I found this info (and more) on the Henry County bios. I downloaded them and burial info, and i'm in the process of creating a family tree database from it. I got interrupted with other things last month. If the following info is of interest, I have the bio of JOHN M. TAZE in WORD format, and can send that. I have NOT entered this into the family tree database as of yet. I am NOT part of the volunteers at Henry County. This is something that I am doing on my own. When completed, I will be able to produve family tree diagrams, family Group sheets, and web pages from the family tree database. A searchable database will be created from the family tree database. DaveB JOHN M. TAZE, born September 13, 1832, in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, his parents being Isaac and Margaret J. (Irvin) Taze. Mr. Taze was united in marriage September 24, 1874 to Miss Elizabeth S. Rutledge, a daughter of William and Ann (McCurdy) Rutledge, who came from Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, in March 1873, and settled in Oxford Township. They had lived in the same neighborhood as the Taze family and the two young people were well acquainted before they left the east. Mr. Rutledge was a farmer by occupation, although as a young man he had been a boatman on the canal from Pittsburg to Youngstown. He is still living at the age of eighty-seven years, but his wife died May 18, 1898. To Mr. Taze and his wife were born three children, William I., Anna Margaret and Jane Ella, the daughters being at home. Source: "History of Henry County Illinois" by Henry L. Thanks David....I do have this info, but I thank you for writing just in case I didn't. I understand in the 1910 History of Henry Co., that there is a picture of him. Does anyone have access to this book that they might be able to make me a copy? I'll pay for copy & postage costs. I also have a question about copywrite laws. How old does a book have to be before it's ok to transcribe? I have seen different postings about transcribing books that are no longer under the copywrite laws, but I have never seen anything about how long they are good for. I have several old books that I would be willing to start working on, but I don't know the rules. Jan Rutledge Roggy DBlish5118@aol.com wrote: > Perhaps you already have this.
