Thanks, Jan. Yes, I have that bio - it is the father of the Joel I am looking for. Joel, Jr., at one time, owned something called the Colony House. There is/was a tombstone on the property - current owners still have the tombstone stored on the property. As I gather, this Colony House was designed, and possibly built, by R. R. Stewart for some settlers coming to the area from Geneseo Co., New York. It is quite a fascinating story. Flavia
