John, It just dawned on me!! You list Pobanz, I list Pobanz. Possible kinship?? My gggrandmother was Matilda T. Pobanz from Edford. Born and raised, spent some of her adult life when she got divorced in Geneseo. She died in Geneseo but is buried in Edford. I don't know a thing about her except she was born 9 January 1876 and died 1 July 1927. She is buried by herself. Her ex-husband died in geneseo but I have no clue where he's buried. No cemetery claims him yet. The family thinks his grave was unmarked because nobody claimed the body. Myth?? Let me know if this Matilda matches stuff you have.
