According to the Handybook for Genealogists, in Henry County, the Clerk of Circuit Court has divorce records but they only date from 1880. Once again I will get on my soapbox and say that every genealogist, new and seasoned, should have a copy of the Everton's Handybook in their their home library. It is now in its 9th edition (1999) and gives the information on what records (marriage, birth, divorce, probate, etc.) are available in each county in the United States - dates covered, address and telephone of the county office. It also tells the date that each county was created and the parent county or territory from which it was created. A must when searching for the proper county of your ancestors. There are also addresses of libraries and genealogfical societies and maps for each state - it is a real goldmine of information and so often when I answer questions such as this one on divorce records, I find the answer in the Handybook!
