Bernie, If you can get to Cambridge, Illinois go to the courthouse. It is on the main road. You can't miss it. If he was born in Kewanee in 1902 it will be listed in the books marked birth records. It will tell you who his parents and where they lived. If you want a copy of the birth certificate it will cost $7. It is $1 for the search of the original record but it is waived if you get a copy. The people there are very pleasant.
