Mike Simmons-Kansas > ****************** Mike...thanks for the lookup. This is very interesting. I had found info that Stephen (S. H.) Richardson died in South Dakota on the Ancestral File. However, I have wondered if he was confused with a grandson named after him. We know that his son, Eben went to Iowa by 1860 and then on to the Dakotas by 1870. I suspect old Stephen Richardson stayed behind in Henry Co and never went to the Dakotas at all. This info takes me a few years down the road toward tracing this guy. I may have to trek over to Henry Co again this Spring (when Iowa and Illinois thaw out) and check some land and cemetery records. Thanks again....it was very kind of you to fulfill my request.
